KUCHING: Another blackout the city Friday evening after a substation caught fire in Taman Hijrah in Petra Jaya.
A Sarawak Energy Bhd spokesman said they were now assessing to what extent and area affected by the power failure.
Taman Hijrah is a densely populated residential area.
On Thursday, tripped circuits caused a statewide blackout which lasted for several hours.
